About Taylor
I completed my studies at Abilene Christian University. After graduate school I worked at a few different places building experience. I enjoy working with families and couples. Usually with a focus on infidelity and parenting issues. Being a wife to a Wildland Firefighter I also understand what it takes to hold down the fort at home when your spouse is traveling for work and working in a dangerous field. I tend to have a heart for children, being a mother myself I understand the all those feelings that come with raising a small you. I have experience working with the foster system and the unique requirements that come with it.
I like to take a collaborative approach when it comes to therapy. This means that I will let you lead and provide a listening ear to you. You are the expert in your life I am merely here to walk with you and support you through your journey. I will try to help you relate to your problem in a different way. I believe in connection being a vital part to our wellness; both physical and mental. It is important to me that anyone I see feels safe and like I am the right therapist for them. I love being playful and making therapy a positive experience for all. I am a direct person, ENTJ, a type 8, and a Virgo. If possible I will use your own unique personality in therapy to not only better understand you but also to help you in your relationship with others.
I have assisted clients of many different backgrounds, religious affiliations, ethnicities, gender identities, and sexual orientation. I believe in autonomy and our freedom to be our true selves and will not discriminate based on any of these differences
