About Judy

I come to the table to serve you with ample experience providing counseling and therapy from the perspective of a former United States Army Soldier, committed wife of 20 years, and mother of four wonderful children ranging from elementary age to young adult. We are a retired military family having spent 20 years with 8 moves in 6 states and enduring 5 wartime deployments. After my husband completed his military career and I completed my education as a therapist, we moved back to my home state of Texas in 2022. The experience I have gained from so much change has greatly equipped me to see relationship problems from many perspectives.

My chief goal is to invest time with people in difficult situations and walk you from a place of pain to a place of healing. This comes from recognizing that the most important aspect of therapy is having a personal connection with my clients and ensuring they are both safe and heard. I have a strong rooting in biblical faith, and I stand ready to engage the toughest of hardships with grace and kindness and will guide you in doing the needed work to achieve restoration. I believe this is possible in all situations, and I genuinely believe that it can happen for you. While my chief focus is trauma, including EMDR techniques, I am very passionate about leading families to healing and helping image-bearers of God achieve true peace in their lives. I work with and provide care for people of all walks of life, faiths, and backgrounds. Hurt and sorrow are things we experience; they do not have to be a part of who we are, and they do not define us. I am confident that we can sit down, provide you with the needed space, meet you where you are, and establish a plan to bring true light to your journey. If you are ready for your first step, I can show you the path to a better tomorrow.
