About Judy
I come to the table to serve you with ample experience providing counseling and therapy from the perspective of a former United States Army Soldier, committed wife of 20 years and mother of four wonderful children ranging from elementary age to teen years. We are a recently retired military family having spent the last 20 years with 8 moves in 6 states and having endured 5 wartime deployments. With my husband completing his military career and me completing my education as a therapist, we moved back to my home state of Texas in 2022. The experience I have gained from so much change has greatly equipped me to see problems from many angles.
My chief goal is to invest time with people in difficult situations and walk others from a place of pain to a place of healing. This comes from a recognition that the most important aspect of therapy is having a personal connection with my clients and ensuring they are both safe and heard. I have a strong rooting in my faith and I stand ready to engage the toughest of hardships with grace and kindness and will guide you in doing the needed work to achieve restoration. I believe this is possible for all situations and I genuinely believe that it can happen for you. While my chief focus is trauma to include EMDR techniques, I am very passionate about leading families to healing and helping image-bearers of God achieve true peace in their lives. Hurt and sorrow are things we experience, they do not have to be a part of who we are. I am confident that we can sit down and establish a plan to bring true light to your journey. If you are ready for your first step, I can show you the path to a better tomorrow.
